About Me
A chartered accountant and statutory auditor specializing in consulting, my career has been built on managing complex mergers and acquisitions for large companies and investment funds, with expertise spanning Europe, the United States and Africa, in key sectors such as energy, infrastructure, natural resources and telecommunications. I worked at KPMG for 36 years, where I spent my entire career moving from financial auditor to Global Lead Partner with global responsibility for major accounts of the firm and then director and Chairman of the Supervisory Board. In 2023, I co-founded STORK Partners, a firm dedicated to supporting economic growth actors on the African continent through innovative management solutions.
My commitment to Africa was also demonstrated through my role as coordinator of the Presidential Council for Africa (2019 to 2022), an initiative led by President Emmanuel Macron. At the same time, I am an independent director in several companies (Finafrica Assurance, Ecobank CI, STOA Infra & Energy), and I am very involved in associations and foundations working for social and development issues (Red Cross, Fondem, etc.). In 2023, I had the honor of being made a Knight of the Order of the Legion of Honor.
Why I’m doing this ?
A very rich exchange with Wilfrid Lauriano do Régo around the strategic challenges of the real estate sector. We also discussed the attractiveness of Benin for expatriates and investors looking to invest there. I particularly enjoyed the conversation around his recent real estate project in Benin—I even had fun analyzing its profitability, construction costs, and various financial parameters.
