About Me
In 2007, I founded Bloomfield Investment Corporation, the first financial rating agency in French-speaking Africa that uses a basket of local currencies to assess investors’ credit risks to companies. With over 25 years of experience in financial and operational risk management, I have acquired solid expertise within renowned institutions such as the World Bank, the International Institute of Economics, the National Bank of Detroit, and the African Development Bank.
I made a significant contribution to the WAEMU financial market negotiations, which led to the introduction of mandatory financial ratings in the capital market. Bloomfield enjoys an excellent reputation in the financial markets and among investors at the national, regional, and international levels. This reputation has enabled us to establish the Country Risk Conferences since 2017, a day of debates and conferences that maps the investment risks of a specific country, based on a country risk report prepared by Bloomfield.
I am a member of the Association of American Public Administrators and Pi Sigma Alpha. In 2018, I was named Financier of the Year by Financial Afrik, the leading provider of financial information in Africa. I am also the author of a biographical work called ” The Man with the Red Socks ,” in which I express my desire to share my experiences with African youth.
