About Me
As a tech entrepreneur, my goal is to revolutionize the informal sector in French-speaking West Africa. I currently lead operations at M-studio, the region’s leading startup studio based in Côte d’Ivoire. We build mobile tech startups inspired by successes in English-speaking markets to drive socioeconomic development. We support and fund entrepreneurs, with a particular focus on women and youth, to nurture Africa’s next unicorns.
Previously, I was Growth Lead and Country Launcher at Wave Mobile Money, contributing to the expansion of mobile financial services in West Africa. I also held leadership roles at Bolt as Regional Operations Manager in East Africa.
In 2015, I co-founded BuuPass, a digital ticketing platform, which I led until 2017. In 2018, Transdev selected BuuPass as one of the best innovations in the transport sector in Nairobi, Kenya.
In 2016, I won the prestigious $1M Hult Prize, awarded by US President Clinton, and was honored with the African Women in Technology Award in 2017. In 2023, I was honored to be included in the Forbes Africa 30 under 30 list, alongside other exceptional young leaders who are redefining the continent despite challenges and opportunities.
Why I’m doing this ?
A pleasant and warm evening, which allowed me to get concrete answers to my questions about the challenges of IT on the continent. I also had the chance to make wonderful connections. A big thank you to Mr. Marc Wabi for his generosity and the sharing of his experience.
