About Me
I am an African banker and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in finance, banking, and business development. A graduate of ESC Toulouse and the University of Paris V, I began my career at Arthur Andersen before holding senior management positions in international financial institutions such as BNP Paribas, Citibank, Barclays, Ecobank, and UBA.
Faced with the challenges of SME access to financing in Africa, I founded the COFINA Group in 2013, now recognized as the first pan-African institution dedicated to mesofinance, the missing link between microfinance and traditional banking.
Driven by my commitment to Africa’s development and the provision of innovative solutions, I completed in 2022 one of the largest private buyout transactions in Francophone Sub-Saharan Africa by becoming the principal Caterpillar dealer across 11 countries in West Africa, now known as NEEMBA.
My commitment to financial inclusion and Africa’s development has earned me several distinctions, including the African Economy Builder Award and Côte d’Ivoire’s National Excellence Award. Since 2015, I have had the honor of being included annually in the “100 People Who Are Transforming Africa” ranking by Financial Afrik.
