About Me
As a visionary architect and committed entrepreneur, I have spent over two decades shaping a modern and sustainable architectural identity that reflects the realities of the African continent. As the co-founder of Koffi & Diabaté Architects, I lead the design of transformative, high-impact projects that blend innovative urban planning, local materials, and sustainability — such as the Vice-Presidency Palace in Benin or the Blaise-Pascal French High School Gymnasium in Côte d’Ivoire.
Trained at Yale and shaped by experiences with renowned architects like Jean Nouvel and Devrouax & Purnell, I have always advocated for an approach that fuses technical excellence, contemporary aesthetics, and social transformation. My work has gained international recognition, including a collaboration with IKEA for the “ÖVERALLT” collection and the engineering award at the World Architecture Festival for the Orange Village project.
Knighted in Côte d’Ivoire’s Order of Cultural Merit, I am also deeply committed to mentorship — supporting a new generation of African architects in designing spaces that serve the cities of tomorrow.
