African banker, investor, and philanthropist, I have dedicated over 30 years to leveraging finance for the sustainable transformation of the continent.
At the intersection of strategy, financing, and impact, I have led several of Africa’s largest financial institutions – including Citi West Africa, Groupe Banque Atlantique, and Ecobank Nigeria – driving their expansion, restructuring, or strategic positioning in competitive environments.
Today, as Co-Founder & CEO of New African Capital Partners, Chairman & CEO of Genesis Holding Company, and leader of SBNA & SBNA Holding, I invest in transformative projects that combine economic performance with social value.
My philanthropic commitment is also reflected in the creation of my Future Africa Foundation, dedicated to access to quality education, climate challenges, and arts and culture, as well as my active contribution to EmpoweR Families for Innovative Philanthropy (ERFIP), an international initiative aiming to structure and amplify a new generation of ambitious, strategic, and sustainable African philanthropy.
Guided by the conviction that finance can be a powerful lever for sovereignty, inclusion, and prosperity, I support leaders, entrepreneurs, and policymakers in implementing long-term growth strategies that are resilient and impactful for Africa.
