About Me
For over 25 years, I have been passionately dedicated to supporting innovative startups in Africa. As the founder and principal collaborator of TVC Labs, a leading tech innovation hub in Nigeria, and co-founder of Zeitec, an investment firm focused on venture capital in Africa, my work has significantly contributed to the early-stage investment ecosystem on the continent. As the founding chairman of the African Business Angel Network (ABAN) and a board member of the Global Business Angel Network (GBAN), I am deeply involved in strengthening investment ecosystems across Africa.
My journey began after graduating from the University of Miami in 1982, where I leveraged my experience leading technology initiatives for global brands such as Elf Aquitaine, Marks & Spencer, Ernst & Young, and Sapient. Since 2001, I have focused my expertise on Africa, leading impactful projects in Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, and Kenya. In addition to my roles as a non-executive director at BCM and MBO Capital, I serve on the boards of several African organizations.
As the author of “ Investment Worthy Startup ” (2023) and recognized as one of the “100 Most Influential Africans” by New African magazine in 2021, I continue to receive accolades for my commitment to promoting innovation in Africa. My work is deeply rooted in a vision to empower African entrepreneurs to build sustainable and impactful businesses through technology.
